An Apache Prayer
The following prayer crossed my desk a few weeks ago.
A friend who belongs to the Apache nation told me that he thought it was one of Geronimo’s prayers. Whoever wrote it had a view of the world that speaks to me, and I want to share it with my readers.
Here is my wish for each of you.
May the sun bring you new energy by day.
May the moon softly restore you by night.
May the rain wash away your worries.
May the breeze blow new strength into your being.
May you walk gently through the world and know its beauty all the days of your life.
